Bergamot and mandarin bring brightness, accompanied by the spice of ginger and the herbal shading of fennel and artemisia. Chocolate and oud occupy the heart alongside ylang-ylang, nutmeg and absinthe. Orris butter, sandalwood and musks contribute a softer texture. Those floral and woody elements give the gourmand idea a more complex character than chocolate sweetness on its own.
