Izia La Nuit is a night-time tribute to a single, mysterious rose growing in Isabelle d'Ornano's garden. It takes the lively, airy Izia as its point of departure and gives that same rose new facets and greater intensity.
Blackcurrant, mandarin and cardamom open with tart fruit, a citrus lift and a cool spiced edge. At the heart, the d'Ornano rose is joined by freesia and magnolia, keeping the flowers bright and luminous.
As it settles, vanilla and amber lend warmth to the rose's sensual side. Ambroxan and patchouli then draw the scent toward woody, leathery shadows. The colour of the fruit gives way to a deeper trail, which is where the name's night comes in.
