Hakone Roten is inspired by Hakone’s fresh greenery. A fruity green character carries a quiet trace of rhododendron, the spring flower named in the Japanese description. Juicy fruit, leaves and softer flowers together suggest a landscape rather than a single bloom.
Woody facets and citrus brightness also support the composition. The flowers are placed within that green, fruity setting, giving the freshness a more specific sense of place. Hakone provides a scene through which the different scent impressions connect.
This is the non-alcohol perfume version, a separate format from the body spray and miniature eau de toilette carrying the same name. It explores that landscape-inspired fragrance through a formulation made without alcohol.
