Noirium opens on the spicy sweetness of licorice. It is not the lightness of candy but the bittersweet edge of the root itself. Deep berry fruit gathers behind it, and bergamot adds a thin line of citrus light, giving the dark fruit just enough of an outline.
As the scent moves, rose and clove come forward. The brightness of the flower meets the dry heat of the spice, and the fragrance slowly raises its temperature. The brand describes this as quietly taking on heat: the sweetness does not swell outward so much as thicken from within.
Iris then softens the heat at the front, while tonka bean and woods hold the base. The sweet vanilla tone of tonka, the dry grain of wood and a powdery softness close the composition in warmth. The eau de parfum carries a 16% concentration and 38 materials.
