Feu Sacré
A guardian bonfire in the night bush, rendered in clove, vanilla, myrrh and Somalian opoponax.
Perfumer: Alexandra Monet
The fire in Feu Sacré is more than warmth. Deep in the bush at the dead of night, a great bonfire burns like a guardian, holding the wilderness back. Dancing embers and smoke weaving into the sky are where this scent begins.
Madagascan clove and South African pink pepper open with the bite of crackling embers. Madagascan vanilla then brings comfort and Ethiopian myrrh a warm, woody shade, so sweetness and resinous heat sit close together.
Depth comes from Somalian opoponax, a balsamic resin with a warm, sweet-earthy character and subtle spice, carrying a mushroom-like depth and a soft liquorice nuance. Creamy sandalwood holds that complexity and settles it into the dense air of a night around the fire.
