Habdan
Incense and saffron meet apple and oud, with amber and maltol adding warm sweetness.
Habdan explores a balance between sweetness and spice. Introduced in 2013 as an Eau de Parfum, it connects stronger saffron and incense with warm amber. Flowers and fruit stand between those elements, bringing a softer impression into contact with the richer texture of resin.
Incense and saffron lead into apple, oud and rose at the heart. Amber, maltol and opoponax form the base. Sweet-tart fruit and gentler flowers meet the depth of wood and resin, while maltol adds a sweeter roundness to the warmth of spice and the more enveloping foundation.
Consider it for cooler-day outings when warmer resins and softer sweetness suit the occasion. This is a suggestion from its composition. The illustrated 125mL bottle has an opaque black body and an angular metallic-looking cap, with raised horses, a shield marked 1743 and the fragrance name on the front.
