Galloway
Bright lemon meets pepper and cardamom, with iris and musk adding a softer texture.
Galloway combines brighter lemon and a fresher spicy character with ambrox and musk. Introduced in 2014, it places softer flowers and a warmer foundation beneath that citrus opening. The white bottle also suggests the composition’s brighter, more composed expression.
Lemon, pepper and elemi open the fragrance, followed by cardamom and iris at the heart. Musk, ambrox and cypriol provide the base. Tart citrus and the lightly piquant impression of spice meet the powder-like softness of iris, while musk and a wood-like texture give that brightness a calmer foundation.
Consider it for composed daytime clothing when citrus and softer flowers suit the occasion. This is a suggestion from its composition. The illustrated 125mL Eau de Parfum has an opaque white bottle and silver-coloured cap, with raised horses, a shield marked 1743 and the house name on the front.
