The description of Little Light Still Burning begins with a softness that lingers after everything has been said, and ends with tender warmth without flame that stays faintly lit within. The name echoes that final image.
The structure is spare at the top and heart. Elemi opens with a bright, citrus-edged resin, then moves into sage, whose dry herbal green tightens that brightness — a short passage before the woods take over.
The base gathers pink pepper, guaiac wood and birch. Pink pepper, harvested in South America and Réunion Island, combines spice and fruit and adds a light shimmer. Guaiac wood, once called the “wood of life”, is steam-distilled from Paraguayan heartwood and has a soft, smoky-floral character; birch deepens that hint of smoke.
As a Care Eau de Parfum, it is water-based and alcohol-free, and can be worn on skin or misted through hair and over the body. Even with wood and smoke at its core, it keeps that low warmth close rather than heavy.
