Figtionalism
A fruity perfume oil pairing wild fig with green cypress and white flowers over a single patchouli base.
Figtionalism begins with wild fig, a fruit the brand traces to the dense valleys of Western Asia. Its official scene is a summer day spent reading in the cool shade of a large tree, and the fragrance is presented as a story written in scent.
The top is wild fig alone, sweet and fleshy. In the heart, cypress brings a dry, needle-like greenness that keeps the fruit from turning syrupy, while carnation adds a faint clove-like bite and tuberose lends a creamy white-flower body. Green wood and flowers develop around the fruity opening.
Patchouli is the only base note. Its earthy, slightly damp depth holds the fig and cypress low on the skin, giving the sweetness something solid underneath.
This is an alcohol-free perfume oil, blended with moringa seed oil and meant to be smoothed directly onto the skin. That close application fits a composition built on quiet contrasts: ripe fruit against cool green wood, and a heady flower softened by shade.
