Blue Hour Letters
A floral of jasmine, rose and ylang ylang after a bergamot opening, set on juniper berry, woods and benzoin.
Blue hour is the brief stretch after sunset when the sky turns deep blue. PAÑPURI places this fragrance in the gap between the last light and nightfall, a moment when memory surfaces, and names juniper berry and jasmine as its leads.
Bergamot is the only top note, a short flash of citrus before the heart opens on jasmine, rose and ylang ylang. Jasmine brings brightness, rose a rounder body and ylang ylang a dense, creamy sweetness.
Juniper berry sits in the base here. According to the brand, it is gathered from wild shrubs across Europe and Asia and steam-distilled from hand-selected berries, giving a crisp aromatic freshness with a subtle resinous depth. Cedarwood, patchouli and benzoin join it with dry wood, earthiness and sweet resin.
The jasmine is described as hand-harvested Jasminum grandiflorum from India and Egypt, used as an absolute. Its floral sweetness is steadied by that conifer-like coolness and warm wood, in an alcohol-free, water-based eau de parfum.
