Boccanera

Boccanera imagines the spicy trace left by a stolen kiss. It explores the boundary between smell and taste, and between desire and unease, through a dark chocolate character. The result suggests spice on the lips as much as a sweet confection.

Cacao and chocolate gain a bitter edge from chili, black pepper and ginger. Jasmine softens the texture, while musk and leather add a bodily undertone. Cedar and patchouli give dry depth to the sweetness of vanilla and sugar.

Choose it when a gourmand should also have spice and leather. Cool air and evening clothes provide a fitting setting for its dark cocoa and warm, prickling character.

Created by Alessandro Gualtieri in 2014, this parfum comes in a clear rectangular 50mL bottle. Its dark gunmetal cap is inset with black horn from Ethiopia and Somalia.
