Solution No.9
A musky floral that links bitter almond, jasmine and rice through tea and toasted sesame.

Solution No.9 takes bitter almond, jasmine and rice and remixes them into a musky floral, as conceived by perfumer Sidonie Lancesseur. Each of the three named notes returns in the pyramid, from the opening almond to the rice accord in the base.
The top lists just two notes, bergamot and bitter almond. Citrus brightness sits next to the slightly bitter, nutty impression of almond, giving the opening a clean, simple outline.
The heart sets Egyptian jasmine beside tea and sesame. The floral sweetness gains a dry, slightly astringent tea facet and the toasted warmth of sesame, which connects back to the nutty almond from the top.
The base brings a rice accord, Virginia cedar and tonka bean. The soft, grain-like impression of rice, tonka's sweetness and the dry cedar settle the whole composition into its musky floral character. Solution No.2 or No.3 are named as layering partners, and like the rest of the line it comes in a 50 ml chrome bottle.
