Solution No.3

Solution No.3 pairs Damask rose with a sensual accord inspired by skin-to-skin contact. The aim is a modern, bold take on the rose.

It opens with pear, blackcurrant and pink pepper. The juiciness of pear and the tart fruit of blackcurrant meet a light prickle of pink pepper, brightening the air before the rose arrives.

At the centre are Damask rose and ambrette liquid. The rich Damask rose takes the leading role and is positioned as the element that breaks the rules. Ambrette, with a softness close to musk, draws the bloom of the petals toward the warmth of skin.

The base is Ambroxan and powdery musks. The strength of the musks and ambrette meets a full, intense Damask rose, so the result is a rose built on contrast: bright fruit and spice above, dense, skin-like musk below. It is suggested for layering with Solution No.4 or No.9.
