Niral
A tribute to Indian wild silk and Thomas Wardle, Niral explores a smooth, fabric-like texture through iris, tea, flowers and soft woods.
Perfumer: Bertrand Duchaufour
Niral honours Thomas Wardle, the British sericulture expert who helped bring Indian wild silk to Europe. Its name evokes uniqueness, calm and serenity, while the fragrance explores the texture and depth of colour of tussar silk. The fine, powdery character of iris meets tea and a wine-lees nuance, creating a gently dry impression. Turkish rose and magnolia bring floral fullness, supported by smooth sandalwood and leather. Pink pepper and cardamom add a light spicy detail within the flowers and woods. The emphasis is on tactile richness and subtle contrasts, echoing the cloth behind its inspiration.
