Oud Island begins on a shore of mandarin and bergamot before Nepalese oud and dark leather appear. Tiare and dried coconut cradle the voyage in its fragrance story, with tobacco and ambergris rising through the final scene.
Bergamot, tangerine and lemon open with brighter acidity. Oud, leather, tiare, tuberose and sandalwood create a heart where darker wood and leather meet fuller white flowers and smoother woody texture. Vanilla, labdanum, musk, tobacco and amber support the foundation through sweetness, resin, drier leaves and a warmer skin-like touch.
The 50mL aluminium bottle carries a spray-retaining clip and charm. Pierre Montale joins citrus light to flowers and the fuller character of leather and wood.
