Leather Patchouli takes its scene to the edge of a lake in India. Oud and saffron melt into patchouli and vanilla in its story, before leather illuminated by incense appears through suspended mist and silence.
Patchouli leaves, labdanum, leather and oud open with layers of greener leaves, resin, leather and darker wood. Cedarwood, guaiacwood and sandalwood build a heart of drier lines, deeper wood and smoother texture. Vanilla, amber and white musk add rounded sweetness, warmth and a softer skin-like touch to that fuller foundation.
The 50mL aluminium bottle has a spray-retaining clip and charm. It invites an evening with leaves, leather and wood, where their quieter complexities can take precedence over brighter fruit or more expansive flowers.
