Aoud Night imagines night descending over the East, with dark oud speaking to rose and patchouli. Montale compares the trail of leather, amber and woods to the shadow of a dream.
Brighter bergamot and lemon meet the deeper woody outline of oud from the opening. Patchouli leaves and rose bring earthy, leafy shading alongside richer flowers in the heart. Amber, leather, white musk, guaiacwood and sandalwood form a warmer foundation, softening the depth of leather and wood.
