Head in the Clouds
A dew-wet morning of tart rhubarb and soft peony under a silky veil of white amber.
Perfumer: Nicolas Beaulieu
Head in the Clouds belongs to the first hour of the day, when you are awake but still half inside a daydream. The image behind it is white flowers wet with morning dew.
It opens on juicy rhubarb: a green, stalky tartness with a little sweetness running through it. Peony then unfolds, the flower entrusted with a romantic mood; rounder and lighter than rose, its petal softness takes the edge off that acidity.
White amber closes the composition, not as a heavy weight but as a texture recalling silky, smooth musk, laid thinly over rhubarb and flower. Everything stays airy, heading toward a clean, fresh impression.
