THE MOVE
Dominique Ropion approached THE MOVE as an olfactory sculpture for a generation. His 2019 eau de toilette adds bright fruit and a salty marine character to an aromatic fougère, giving it an energetic urban setting.
Grapefruit, cardamom, and apple blossom shape the opening. Geranium meets a salty marine accord in the heart, followed by tonka bean and balsam fir. The sweet, balsamic finish rounds the airy maritime freshness rather than leaving it sharp.
The rounded blue 100 mL bottle has an integrated spray and the Mercedes star. City walks and an afternoon change of pace offer a natural setting for its combination of marine air, aromatics, and gentle sweetness.
