Radical Rose Eau de Parfum
Grasse-grown Centifolia rose meets brighter spice and darker woody-resinous facets.
Perfumer: Aurélien Guichard
Radical Rose approaches rose as a material with light and darkness, rather than a flower confined by gender. Guichard places organically grown Centifolia rose from the house’s Grasse fields at the centre, drawing out its floral, woody and spicy complexity.
Rose absolute meets saffron and pepper berries essence from Jamaica, which bring a brighter spicy character. Indonesian patchouli and Andalusian labdanum extend the darker woody and resinous facets. The composition keeps rose central while contrasting these different impressions around it.
Consider it for an occasion when a floral fragrance should also carry dry wood and spice, or with a quieter outfit that leaves space for rose. Introduced in 2020 and created by Guichard, this eau de parfum is distinct from the immortelle-enriched extrait. The illustrated 100mL presentation has transparent glass, a black cap and a white label.
