Guns of Sakura
Dark fruit, metallic notes and a gunpowder accord meet smoke and creamy woods, exploring the faces we show the world.
Perfumer: Antoine Lie
Guns of Sakura explores the masks people wear before the world and the smoke screens that protect softer feelings. The desire to connect meets the impulse to retreat. Falling petals within smoke provide an image for individuality and the tension surrounding self-expression.
Blackcurrant, olibanum and metallic notes lead into a gunpowder accord and birch. Musk, guaiac wood and sandalwood form the base. A cooler metallic edge and ash-like dryness meet creamier wood, giving the fragrance contrasting textures. Gunpowder is disclosed as an olfactory accord.
Try it when neat clothing should carry a more unexpected fragrance, or while exploring smoky wood with softer edges. Antoine Lie created this extrait de parfum, introduced in 2025. The illustrated 75mL presentation has dark rounded glass, a broad cap and a golden nameplate.
