Bali H'ai
Coconut, flowers, vanilla and softer tobacco woods evoke the warmth of a Balinese shore at sunset.
Perfumer: François Merle-Baudoin
Bali H’ai imagines a tropical shore at sunset as the island becomes enveloped by night. Romance and escape meet the quieter act of returning to memories. The fragrance connects a remembered paradise with a more personal sense of reflection.
Coconut, rose and jasmine introduce creamy sweetness and a clear floral character. Vanilla, patchouli and ylang-ylang deepen the warmer centre. Tobacco leaf, musk and cedar settle into a smoother base, where drier wood supports the rounder flowers and the sweetness around them.
Try it for an evening walk or an unhurried day when tropical flowers should bring a little warmth. François Merle-Baudoin created the fragrance, introduced in 2021. The illustrated current extrait de parfum is its 50mL presentation, with white rounded glass, a golden cylindrical cap and a metal nameplate.
