Barbotine
Softer chamomile and golden button flowers meet vivid herbs, brighter bergamot and a quieter cedarwood and musk finish.
Perfumer: Fabrice Pellegrin
Barbotine explores the small, yellow, button-like flowers of tansy. This is the current eau de parfum presented in the 2025 Flora Orchestra design. Fabrice Pellegrin seeks the sweetness, greener herbs, freshness, flowers and woody facets of this flower, also called golden button. A plant extract helps express a less often noticed scent, bringing softer flowers together with a more lively herbal outline.
Chamomile carries softer flowers within greener, herb-like character. Golden button extract forms the centre, combining a clearer aromatic outline with floral detail. Brighter bergamot contributes citrus freshness around the vegetation. Quieter, warmer cedarwood and musk connect the herbs and flowers with a more gentle finish. The effect suggests garden herbs alongside softer flowers, for someone who enjoys greenery and woody warmth around a floral impression.
Consider it for a relaxed day among plants or a quieter café with wooden furniture, paired with pale linen or cotton. The selected 50mL bottle has clear glass with rounded shoulders and a subtly textured pale label. A black cylindrical cap sits above a ringed neck, while the label has a gently curved lower edge. A faint yellow tint in the liquid and a thicker transparent base add quieter light to the small yellow-flower theme.
