Rosewood imagines stepping onto the famous Cannes Film Festival staircase. Pink pepper and patchouli enhance a modern rose, with incense giving depth to an evening adornment. Arnaud Poulain and Amélie Bourgeois created this 2020 eau de parfum.
Pink pepper provides a lightly spicy opening. Rose essence and rose absolute meet oud in the heart, combining floral fullness with deep fragrant wood. Incense, patchouli and sandalwood leave resinous smoke, dry earth and softer wood in the base. The darker foundation supports the rose’s more glamorous expression.
The black cylindrical 100mL bottle is finished with a square black cap and fine gold detailing. It is a welcoming option for a dressed-up evening when a prominent rose feels more interesting beside wood and incense than on its own.
