Santa Cruz starts with citrus trees warmed by the sun of the Canary Islands. Introduced in 2018 and credited to Vincent Ricord, this aromatic citrus adds eucalyptus and cedar to that bright landscape. It is a composition in which fruit, leaves and wood each contribute a different form of freshness, giving the journey from the opening to the base more detail than a citrus impression alone.
Bergamot and grapefruit provide a juicy, lively introduction. Eucalyptus then brings the cooler character of leaves, with a slightly sharper freshness suggesting menthol and camphor. Cedar supports the base with a drier woody texture. Together, the materials move the fragrance from the brightness of fruit towards an aromatic green heart and a steadier finish.
Consider it for a warm-weather outing or a morning when you want citrus with a cooler leafy dimension. The 100mL bottle combines a black cylindrical glass body with a broad black cap. Its front carries a framed gold-coloured botanical motif, with Santa Cruz written below, while vertical studio highlights show the curve of the glass.
