Mimosa
Powdery mimosa recalls Provence, with brighter bergamot and the drier outline of cedarwood.
Perfumer: Jean-Claude Ellena
Mimosa looks towards Provence, where clusters of yellow flowers brighten the pale light of winter. Jean-Claude Ellena made that contrast of light and softness the subject of this parfum, introduced in 2021 as part of the Signature collection. Rather than surrounding the flower with a crowded bouquet, the composition sets its character beside cedarwood.
Bergamot provides a fresher opening before mimosa absolute brings a powdery floral texture. A rounded warmth suggesting honey meets the drier, more defined character of cedarwood. The concise structure allows the softness of the flower and the firmness of the wood to remain distinct, while giving them space to work together.
Consider it with soft knitwear, or when you want a flower-led fragrance with a quieter character. The 100mL bottle has a black rectangular body, a broad cap and a gold-coloured label. Mimosa is written beneath the house name on the otherwise restrained front.
