Anori
Cardamom, magnolia and cedar form a marine floral inspired by the cold wind over the Arctic Ocean.
Perfumer: Benoist Lapouza
Anori looks towards the cold wind moving over the Arctic Ocean. Introduced in 2019 and created by Benoist Lapouza, this marine floral builds its imagined landscape from spice, flowers and wood. Magnolia supplies a softer presence within the colder scene, placing an enveloping floral texture beside materials that give the fragrance a clearer, more bracing outline. The house describes a salty wood impression, suggesting the meeting of a colder open landscape with the softer presence of the flower.
Cardamom opens with a fresh, lightly spicy character. Magnolia absolute forms the heart, bringing a more rounded floral texture, while cedar provides the drier woody base. The contrast allows the flower to feel airy without making it disappear, with the spice and wood maintaining the cooler impression described by the house.
Try it when you want a fresh floral for an outing or a change of pace. The 100mL presentation has a black cylindrical body beneath a broad black cap. A matte front label carries the gold-coloured botanical motif and the Anori name, set against the glossier surface of the glass.
