Hidden by a Rose

Hidden by a Rose imagines the more mysterious expression of a rose as a brief shadow falls on Domaine de la Rose. Created by Juliette Karagueuzoglou and Anne Flipo, this eau de parfum joined Absolue Les Parfums in 2026. Its setting is the fleeting boundary between light and darkness when the moon hides the sun. The perfumers bring incense around a spiced rose, enveloping it in the warmth of myrrh and vanilla.

Around centifolia rose, pink pepper adds fresher spice with lighter aromatic and floral facets. An incense accord brings woody depth and amber-like warmth, giving the flower darker shading. Myrrh contributes warmer resinous character, while vanilla adds fuller, creamier sweetness. Within the Halo construction, floral rose, brighter spice and deeper incense work together. Their more mysterious atmosphere has a softer, sweeter texture within it.
