Juliette Karagueuzoglou earned a bachelor's degree in chemistry before training formally in perfumery at ISIPCA, France's leading school for perfumery, cosmetics, and food flavoring. She graduated in 2007 and began her career as a perfumer soon after.

Career

She started at the fragrance house Expressions Parfumées in Grasse before joining IFF (International Flavors & Fragrances) in 2002. By 2007 she had risen to Junior Perfumer within the Fine Fragrance division in Paris, and has since composed fragrances for numerous luxury houses.

Creative Style & Philosophy

Juliette describes perfumery as an act of generosity. She aims to create fragrances that endure as olfactory markers through time, forging connections between people, sharpening the edges of memory, and provoking emotion. In selecting materials, she values a balance between delicacy and approachability.
