Forbidden Rose
Richer rose meets greener, milky fig and softer fig jam sweetness, with iris concrete and musk enveloping the floral and fruit-like textures.
Perfumer: Fabrice Pellegrin
Forbidden Rose brings ripe fig sweetness around the fuller petals of rose. Created by Fabrice Pellegrin, this eau de parfum joined Absolue Les Parfums in 2025. It imagines the hotter summer nights of Grasse, where fig approaches ripeness with a little greenery remaining. The perfumer uses its green and milky character to enhance the fruit-like facets of rose, adding fullness through centifolia extract and Damascena essence.
A fig accord combines greener botanical character with a milky texture. A separate fig jam accord joins fig freshness with softer sweetness suggesting candied fruit, adding riper fullness around the flowers. Centifolia rose extract and Damascena rose essence form the floral centre, while iris concrete and musk contribute creamier, enveloping texture. Within the Halo construction, flowers, greener fruit and jam-like sweetness work together around rose.
Try it if you want fuller flowers with fig, or a milkier fruit-like texture alongside rose, perhaps for an evening meal or a sweeter accent to your clothes. The selected cylindrical 100mL bottle shows vivid magenta liquid beneath a gold-coloured cap. Its round plaque carries Forbidden Rose and the brand name above a rose motif in the thick glass base.
