Dorian is immortal, and endlessly bored. Even his diversions have stopped giving him pleasure. Dorian’s Spleen is built around that weariness.
It begins with an amber glint in a glass of spirits. Whisky sits at the centre, rich and round, laced with caramel, coffee and dark chocolate. The effect is polished rather than heavy, with the composure of a dandy.
Then the mood turns. The softer, sweeter aromas thin out, and ash and smoke move to the front. Whatever Dorian does to distract himself, his darkness returns, and the perfume follows that slide.
