amande brûlée
Custard and almond sweetness gains detail from cacao, saffron and yuzu in a dessert-inspired perfume.
Perfumer: Hidenori Matsuno
Amande Brûlée imagines custard cream, a crisp caramelised surface and almonds together. Kilesa translates the contrast between smooth cream and a toasted top into a perfume. Herbs, flowers and spice provide further detail around the dessert-like sweetness.
Eucalyptus, custard, cacao, almond and yuzu appear in the opening. Cool eucalyptus and bright yuzu sit beside creamy and nutty impressions. Freesia, rose, saffron and neroli form the heart, bringing flowers and a drier spicy accent into the sweeter theme. Patchouli, cocoa, vanilla and musk make up the base, retaining an earthy shade beneath the softness.
It offers a choice for a relaxed evening when sweet perfume with citrus and floral details feels appealing. A warm outfit can complement its dessert-inspired character. The rounded 50 mL clear-glass bottle is topped with a silver-coloured cap, and its name is printed directly on the front.
