Scent Development and Character
A heated rose–oud composition that opens with a spark of saffron and cinnamon over Bulgarian rose, then unfurls into a lush rose absolute and soft lychee sweetness before settling into a long, woody trail of Atlas cedar and an oud accord built around cypriol, touched by dark, smoky leather.
Who It Is For and When to Wear It
Best suited to evening and cold-weather wear when a dense, spicy rose–oud scent is desired; works for formal occasions, dressed-up nights out, or intimate settings where a sultry, smoky trail is appropriate. Most suitable for autumn and winter wear; can work on cool spring nights but is generally too dense for hot summer days. Sillage is Strong, forming a clear aura around the wearer without being overwhelmingly diffusive. Longevity is Long-lasting for an EDP, typically persisting most of the day with a noticeable woody–rose presence.
Perfumer and Bottle
Released in 2010, this is presented as Eau de Parfum and credited to Calice Becker. Rectangular Kilian Paris glass flacon in glossy black with vertical ridges on the sides, a metal front plaque engraved with the brand name, and a matching black cap; sold within the brand’s standard presentation for The Narcotics collection rather than the decorative coffret format.
