Flower by Kenzo Eau de Parfum
A poppy growing unexpectedly in the city inspired Flower by Kenzo. Alberto Morillas gave the naturally scentless flower an imagined fragrance in 2000, creating a powdery floral eau de parfum around the surprise of nature appearing within an urban setting.
Pink pepper, Damask rose, vanilla, and white musk shape the composition. A bright touch of spice leads towards soft rose petals, while vanilla and musk place a powder-like texture around the flower. The character comes from the meeting of flowers and gentle sweetness rather than prominent juicy fruit.
The curved, slender refillable 100 mL glass bottle carries a single red poppy. Calm daytime outings suit its soft floral texture. The relationship between a city and an unexpected flower appears in both the design and the fragrance.
