Hauto
Tuberose and musk meet bright fruit and the warmth of amber woods.
Perfumer: Vanina Muracciole
Hauto takes its cue from the intimate gesture of wearing perfume on skin. Jeroboam frames it with a story about French Cancan dancers in the cabarets of 1920s Paris and their reputed perfume ritual; the name itself points to “skin.” Pineapple and bergamot give the composition a bright edge, while rose and tuberose bring a fuller floral presence. Spices add definition around the flowers. Musk lends softness, and the brand’s description of amber woods suggests a gentle warmth behind them. The result pairs the exuberance of tuberose with a closer, skinlike quality. For someone drawn to prominent white flowers but interested in a softer setting for them, it is a fragrance to try sparingly and experience on skin.
