A floral musk that moves from a green bergamot-and-hyacinth opening to a sweeter heart of lilac and linden blossom.

Lilas Exquis sets out to capture the feeling of a lilac flower that has just been picked. Perfumer Luca Maffei shaped it to open fresh and transparent, then grow sweeter and more floral, and the house presents it as a floral musk meant to surprise.
The top pairs bergamot, hyacinth and blueberry. Bergamot brings brightness, hyacinth a fresh sweetness and blueberry a juicy depth, giving the opening a greener edge than many people expect from a floral.
In the heart, lilac appears in a modern interpretation, joined by the floral, aquatic side of magnolia and the honeyed sweetness of linden blossom. A violet cream accord adds a delicate layer that heightens the sensual freshness of the linden.
The base rests on the earthy warmth of ambrette absolute, the smooth woody depth of Timbersilk and the modern, resinous quality of Ambroxan, while musk runs through the whole composition.
