Curacao Bay is a woody marine fragrance built around the idea of an escapade on the deep blue ocean. Its opening is a burst of lemon, tangerine and orange, with petitgrain bigarade and green notes adding crisp, green nuances to the citrus.

In the heart, marine notes bring a cool, calm impression of the sea, while frangipani blossom adds a soft, creamy floral texture. A touch of black currant gives this middle part more depth, keeping the freshness from feeling simple.

Perfumer Cécile Zarokian explains that frangipani, white flowers and marine notes were used to give the fragrance depth and intensity, and that this was heightened by the animalic facet of a natural grey amber infusion.

That infusion sits in the base with musks and woody notes. Its resinous richness brings warmth beneath the citrus and marine notes, and the woods give the composition a grounded finish.
