Leder 6·9
A tenth-anniversary extrait of LEDER 6: dark leather and saffron, deepened with vanilla and cacao, resin and dry woods.

Leder is German for leather, and this extrait was made for the tenth anniversary of LEDER 6. Rather than simply turning up the volume, it takes the original eau de parfum as a starting point and reworks its central character.
Dark leather and saffron set the tone, the spice adding a warm, slightly metallic edge to the hide. Vanilla, davana, patchouli and cacao bring a deeper sweetness, with davana's boozy, dried-fruit tint softening the leather.
Frankincense, cedarwood, guaiacwood, styrax and cypriol add smoke, resin and dry timber. At extrait strength the result is meant to wrap more fully, darker and longer on skin than the eau de parfum it grew from.
