Finale
The curtain call in scent: nectarine liqueur and davana, then tobacco and benzoin, closing on vetiver and guaiacwood.
Perfumer: Veronique Nyberg
Finale is named for the moment the curtain drops and the applause starts. Drawing on Berlin's stages, J.F. Schwarzlose Berlin set out to capture the peak of a stirring experience in a scent that is opulent, warm and enveloping.
The house describes it as a production in acts. The opening puts pepper beside davana and nectarine liqueur, like a spotlight; tobacco, benzoin and black datura then spread out like a velvet curtain; and the close settles into balsam fir, vetiver and guaiacwood. Ripe stone fruit warmed by liqueur gives way to smoke, resin and dry wood.
The idea has history: the house first presented it in 1914 as a "fantasy scent of exquisite freedom," and the 2025 edition brings that vision back. It weighs past against future and, as it did then, toasts the final act of a grand moment.
