Etrango

The 1929 name revived: saffron, Damask rose and patchouli dancing through the city.

J.F. シュヴァルツローゼ ベルリン エトランゴ 100mL ボトル

The name is a blend: French étrange, English strange, and tango. Etrango sets out to leave the ordinary behind and dance with the molecules of the metropolis.

The first ETRANGO appeared in 1929, when it was read as a fantasy fragrance: elegant, innovative, powerful and long-lasting. The current version is described in the image of the capital itself, complex, pulsing, frankly erotic and boldly audacious.

The official notes come in three lines: Bergamot & Caraway & Saffron, Jasmine & Damask Rose & Carnation, and Patchouli & Oakmoss & Cypriol. In the brand's telling, patchouli, tree moss and cypriol move through the underground, then Damask rose and Arabian jasmine draw you up into the city's light. Dry caraway and saffron, plus the clove-like bite of carnation, keep it from settling into an easy floral.
