Café M
After the Schöneberg café that has gathered Berlin's music crowd since 1979: coffee and rum with saffron and tonka.
Perfumer: Veronique Nyberg
Café M is named after Café M. in Schöneberg, which has been a meeting point for Berlin's music and culture scene since 1979. The brand presents the place as bold, creative and unpretentious, and the perfume joined Re’Collection II as an Extrait de Parfum in 2026.
The opening pairs coffee with cocoa extract and rum, so roasted bitterness and a boozy warmth arrive together. Saffron brings a dry, spiced edge to the heart, while vanilla orchid and tonka bean round it into something closer to dessert.
Amberwood and benzoin carry the drydown. The sweetness settles into resin, and the dry woody outline of amberwood stays to the end.
