Bois Mystique begins with a scene: warming yourself at a bonfire while the sky burns pink and orange at sunset. Houbigant frames it as a warm, comforting scent with hints of liquor and an exotic woodiness.
It is meant as a rich woody fragrance with a modern twist, joining the freshness of woods to a strong spice note.
The opening is a fresh accord where the citrus of bergamot meets the spice of davana and ginger. At the centre, cypriol and incense intertwine to bring out the mysterious side the name promises. Amber and woods settle underneath, holding the scent at the temperature of a fire burning down.
