1826
A sensual amber dedicated to Eugénie de Montijo, the Granada-born empress. Bright bergamot and tangerine give way to violet, white flowers, cinnamon and ginger, resting on patchouli, amber, incense and vanilla for a soft, powdery trail.

1826 takes its cue from Eugénie de Montijo, born in Granada and later the last empress of France. The opening is bright, as if catching the light of the city once called the jewel of Andalusia. Bergamot and tangerine spark first, then cinnamon and ginger add a warm, faintly sharp edge.
At the heart, violet meets white flowers. The effect is powdery and floral at once, sweet without tipping into dessert. Incense drifts through and gives the bouquet a smoky depth, so the flowers never read as simple prettiness.
The base settles slowly. Patchouli and amber hold the structure, while blond woods bring a dry grain, white musk softens the edges, and vanilla rounds the whole. The smooth floral impression meets the calmer character of wood, bringing out the warmth of the amber foundation.
Wear it on a cool evening or with a composed outfit. It suits anyone who wants both radiance and restraint in the same bottle.
