Source¹ turns Hermetica’s foundational accord into a complete fragrance. Its name evokes an origin or starting point and the alchemical idea of prima materia. Making the shared base the subject brings luminous citrus and warm wood into focus.

Bergamot essence opens the composition. Woody musk and amber soften its peel-like freshness, while myrrh essence adds resinous depth at the base. The citrus does not stand alone: dry wood and warmth carry it into a calmer texture. A small set of notes gives brightness and composure equal space.

Wear it when a clean impression needs a little warmth, with a white shirt, a simple knit or a quiet working day. It stands on its own and also provides a starting point for exploring layering with other Hermetica fragrances.

The fragrance first appeared in 2018, with the original composition credited to Alienor Massenet. The alcohol-free eau de parfum comes in 100mL and 50mL sizes. A tall green bottle and perforated gold cap express the house’s shared design.
