Sandalsun
Hazelnut and vanilla meet cacao and creamy sandalwood in a languid woody gourmand.
Perfumer: Philippe Paparella-Paris
Sandalsun joins sandalwood and the sun in its name. The idea of an idle day in warm light becomes sweet nuts and smooth wood. Its brightness takes the form of creamy warmth as much as citrus freshness.
Hazelnut meets a lighter touch of bergamot. Vanilla, cacao and heliotrope layer sweetness and a softly powdery texture at the heart. Sandalwood, myrrh and musk ground the fragrance in wood and resin. Edible associations flow into a smoother woody character without losing their warmth.
Wear it for a relaxed afternoon or with a soft knit. It can appeal to someone who enjoys nuts and vanilla alongside the comfort of wood. The languid character fits an unhurried weekend and an easy, informal mood.
The fragrance appeared in 2018, with the original composition credited to Philippe Paparella-Paris. This alcohol-free eau de parfum currently comes in 100mL and 50mL sizes. Its green bottle and gold cap carry the house’s shared design.
