Vanilla Firenze explores different facets of vanilla beside delicate Italian orris and warmer myrrh. Created by Véronique Nyberg and introduced to Gucci’s Alchemist’s Garden collection in 2025, the eau de parfum celebrates inherited craftsmanship and the handling of fine fragrance materials. Three vanilla extracts give the composition different textures: the warmth of an infusion, the softer sensuality of an absolute and the richness of an essence. It suits someone who enjoys comforting vanilla sweetness with powderier floral softness and quieter resinous depth around it.

Black pepper and cardamom introduce a drier spicy outline, with carrot seed giving a more earthy, root-like impression. Italian iris butter brings softer orris powder into the heart. Namibian myrrh resinoid and Siam benzoin resinoid surround that delicate texture with warmer resins and gentler sweetness. Three Bourbon vanilla extracts broaden the base with a smoother, more enveloping character. The composition connects drier spice and roots with softer orris, rounded resins and fuller vanilla warmth.

Try it for an evening spent reading or a day in softer knitwear. Cream-coloured clothing or a smooth scarf can meet its more comforting texture. The selected 100mL bottle has rounded shoulders and a black glass body beneath a gold-toned stopper. A horse, surrounding leaves and a ribbon appear in fine gold decoration on the front. Inspired by antique apothecary containers, its form combines the horse’s symbolism of nobility and strength with a quieter, darker setting for the vanilla and resin theme.
