Cabotine Kinmokusei is a Japan-exclusive fragrance inspired by the small blossoms that announce autumn. It presents the gently wafting sweetness of osmanthus, likened by the house to an annual gift, alongside citrus and fruit.
Brazilian orange and Italian lemon gain a tart green edge from rhubarb. Lily of the valley and peony join apple, pineapple and peach in the heart. Violet wood and osmanthus form the base, leaving woody definition and fruit brightness within the sweeter floral character.
It appeals when familiar osmanthus sweetness should also include lighter fruit and flowers. Small orange blossoms and leaves decorate the white, oval 50 mL bottle, beneath an orange cap sculpted as a cluster of flowers.
