Cabotine Eau de Parfum
Spicy ginger and ginger lily meet tuberose, wild hyacinth and a woody, musky base.
Perfumer: Jean-Claude Delville
Cabotine takes its name from the French word for an actress. Its original conception embraces both innocence and a more uninhibited character. This eau de parfum presents that variety through bright citrus, spice and a generous floral bouquet.
Mandarin meets the bite of ginger and the sweetness of ylang-ylang in the opening. Ginger lily, wild hyacinth and tuberose combine greener detail with fuller floral textures in the heart. Patchouli, sandalwood and musk support the base alongside the fruit character of blackcurrant.
It appeals when flowers should include spice and greenery as well as sweetness. The rounded, clear 100 mL bottle shows yellow-toned liquid beneath a pale sculpted floral cap, with green lettering on the glass.
