Purple Suede
A leathery floral eau de parfum built around Tasmanian lavender, rose, patchouli and woodleather.
Perfumer: Ilias Ermenidis
Purple Suede takes the lavender fields of Tasmania as its subject, bringing aromatic flowers into a leathery floral composition. Ilias Ermenidis composed the fragrance around the meeting of lavender, rose and Woodleather, with deeper expressions of patchouli, civet and tropical Australian agarwood.
Pink pepper brings a light spicy accent alongside the brightness of bergamot. Coriander seed adds a warmer spice character. Tasmanian lavender combines floral sweetness with herbal greenness, while rose lends a softer petal texture to the aromatic centre.
The dry wood and leather character of Woodleather meets the earthy depth of Indonesian patchouli. Civet contributes an animalic warmth, and tropical Australian agarwood adds a denser woody presence. Together, these materials give the lavender and flowers a darker setting, bringing fresh greenery, petals, woods and leather into contact.
Presented as an eau de parfum, Purple Suede has a stated concentration of 25% essences and botanicals. Its French glass bottle is finished with gold lacquer, housing a composition focused on the textures of aromatic flowers, dry woods and leather.
