A 1971 rock-album cover and the idea of an irresistible temptation helped shape Sticky Fingers. Patchouli is the central material in a composition with the atmosphere of leather clothes and tobacco.

Coriander and cinnamon bring spice around intense patchouli and leather. Iris butter adds powdery softness, joined by tobacco, musk, castoreum and tonka bean. The softer texture connects the more unruly aspects without removing their darker character.
